AutoPot FlexiPot systems combine the ease of use and simplicity of AutoPot systems with the growth-enhancing benefits of fabric pots. 20-litre fabric FlexiPots create a root-pruning effects that deliver faster root development and faster all-round growth rates.

FlexiPot systems come with upgraded AQUAvalve5 (AV5) units and thicker pipework (6mm internal diameter rather than 4mm). This improves the efficiency of nutrient distribution and prevents blockages.

What is Root Pruning?

Air pruning, otherwise known as root pruning, is a horticultural technique that makes root growth much, much more efficient. As plant roots reach the sides of the containers, they get exposed to the outside air. This exposure causes the root tips to dry out and stop growing, stimulating the plant to grow more roots out from the centre, creating incredibly dense root systems that fill up the entire containers.

This process enhances plants' ability to absorb water and nutrients, leading to healthier, more vigorous growth.
