Why You Need an IWS Trident System
The IWS Trident System incorporates an array of features that push flood & drain feeding to the next level. Central to its design is the unique bottom feed port, which sits on the underside of the outer container, ensuring complete nutrient saturation of the root zone while preventing root blockages. Cloth inner pots enhance oxygenation, which results in healthier root systems and vigorous plant growth. Built-in riser stands eliminate the need for external stands, streamlining the setup process and simplifying the whole system.
The system operates on a timer, allowing precise control over the flooding and draining cycles. This ensures that plants receive the right amount of nutrients and water at the optimal times, promoting robust growth. The IWS Trident can accommodate up to 48 pots, making it scalable for various growing needs, from small home gardens to larger commercial operations. It is compatible with a variety of growing media, providing versatility for different plant types.
Additional features include tie-back rings, which help to maximize the plant canopy, and a sturdy design that ensures longevity and reliability. The IWS Flood & Drain Trident system is ideal for growers seeking an efficient, scalable, and reliable solution for hydroponic cultivation, leading to larger yields and healthier plants.
How to Set Up an IWS Trident System
Assemble the FlexiTank by sliding the legs into the main body.
Screw the pipe connectors into the holes at the top of the tank. Be sure to use the included rubber washers, in order to form a tight seal.
Connect up the fill and drain pipes by screwing them to the pipe connectors on the outside of the tank.
Connect the water pump to the other fill pipe, then drop the pump into the tank and connect the other end of the pipe to the fill fitting on the inside of the FlexiTank.
Fit the short 'return flow' pipe to the inside of the FlexiTank.
Connect the fill and drain pipes to the labelled pipe connectors on the brain.
Push the rubber grommets into the centre of each container. Then push one of the fittings (a tee or an elbow, depending on the set-up) into the grommet. Add a dash of the supplied lubricant to the side of the fitting to make things easier.
Lay out your system, cut your pipes to the right lengths and then connect everything up.
Take the power cable for the pump (that's at the bottom of the FlexiTank), thread the cable through the hole at the top of the FlexiTank and connect it up the matching socket on the side of brain bucket.
Connect the IWS Minute Timer to the brain.
Place a fabric inner inside each container.
