5 Meters of 19mm White and Black Flexi Pipe
Target nutrient temperature: 18oC - 21oC
Keep your oxygen level high, fight root problems and speed up nutrient uptake. Keep nutrient temperature cool with RhizoLine Pipe.
To keep heat out, RhizoLine has a double layer – a white layer to reflect heat, a black layer to block UV rays.
Switch to RhizoLine and your temperature will drop by at least 3oC – some have reported drops of 8oC!
As result, your oxygen level and nutrient uptake will increase, and your risk of root problems will drop,
It’s simple, but it really does the trick. During summer, there’s no other pipe worth using.
- Keeps your nutrient cool
- Double wall to keep heat out
- Black inner wall to block UV rays
- White outer wall to reflect heat
- Lowers temperature by 3oC – 8oC
- Helps prevent root problems (like Pythium)
- Keeps nutrient uptake high
- Maximises oxygen level
The Science
One of the best ways to fight root diseases and increase nutrient uptake is to control your nutrient solution temperature.
Why? It’s all about the oxygen.
As your nutrient solution warms, its oxygen level drops. When this happens, nutrient uptake slows. If your oxygen level drops too low, Pythium and other root diseases can take hold.
To make matters worse, algae thrives in warm nutrient solutions – if algae grows, your oxygen level will drop even further.
If you go too low, you could shock plants your plants and slow growth
The best nutrient temperature is 18oC - 21oC. At this temperature, your oxygen level remains high. Algae and root diseases are less of a threat, and nutrient absorption stays high.
